How much funds do I need to get started?

The minimum deposit for the opening of a standard live account is $2500$2500 and $250 for a mini account.

What type of account can I open with?

You can open an Individual, Joint, Corporate, Partnership or Trust account. Please note, however, that the minimum deposit for the opening of a Trust account is $100 000. 

Is there a standard procedure for dealing by phone?

Yes. Once the telephone is answered, have the following information at hand:

• Your account number
• Whether you are buying or selling
• The volume of your order
• The currency you wish to trade
• The price at which you would like to place your order 
• The type of order for example limit, stop and/or OCO

How much time do I need to spend in front of my PC?

No. The type of trading style you adopt will determine how much time you spend in front of your PC. If you are a short-term trader or day-trader, you need to be there while you have an open position. Many traders trade for a couple of hours a day and continue with their careers. If you hold your position for a day or longer (swing trading), you will spend less active time in front of your computer during market hours but more in the post market hours doing research. We will also teach you order entry methods that allow you to place orders that electronically trigger whether you are in front of your computer, or not.
